About Us
Commonwealth neighborhood, on the "edge" of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina is a community of approximately 80 privately-owned homes. Commonwealth was developed in the 1980's and has a mixed resident base with families ranging from young, married to retired. The amenities include 2 tennis courts (one painted for Pickle Ball use), basketball court, picnic shelter and large dock with a tidal creek boat landing. Commonwealth is a quiet, secluded neighborhood with larger than average lots, many with marsh, lake or tidal creek views. We still consider our neighborhood to be "in the country" even though we now have shopping and restaurants only a few miles away!
